Genesis 1:26-27—God made man and woman in His image and likeness.
Psalm 82:6—We are “gods” sons of the Most High God.
John 10:33-35—Jesus said that the law stated that men could be called “gods”.
John 17:4-5, 21-22—Jesus had glory with the Father. Jesus gives us the glory the
Father gave him so we may be one with the Father and Son.
Acts 17:28—We are God’s offspring.
Romans 8:14-29—We are the children and heirs of God. We will be glorified and
conformed to the image of his Son. God’s creation is waiting for
the time when God’s children become glorified.
I Corinthians 15:45-49—As we have born the earthly image we will also bear the
heavenly image. We shall bear the image of Christ.
II Corinthians 3:18—We are being transformed into His (God’s) likeness.
Galatians 4:4-7—We are sons and heirs of God.
Ephesians 1:11-14—God’s Holy Spirit is a deposit in us guaranteeing our inheritance.
Philippians 3:21—Our bodies will someday be like Jesus Christ’s glorious body.
Colossians 1:15—The Son is the image of the invisible God. So if we are becoming like
the Son (Romans 8:29) we will be like God.
Hebrews 2:5-10—Everything will someday be subject to mankind when God brings
humans into glory.
Hebrews 12:10—God chastens his children so we may be partakers of His Holiness.
II Peter 1:4—We can be partakers of the Divine Nature.
I John 3:1-2—When Christ appears (2nd coming) we shall be like Him.
Revelation 3:12—If you overcome, God’s name will be on you.
Revelation 21:7—If you overcome, you will inherit all and be God’s son.
Revelation 22:4—We will have God’s name on our foreheads.
